Wish they have better gluten free options especially on an island with that type of clientele. The food is good but portions are very small for the prices
Home of the famous "back door donuts" which are by far the best donuts you'll ever experience!!!! A line forms behind the building around 6:30 PM for fresh, and I mean screaming fresh, donuts and fritters. Giant apple fritters are to die for and the melty chocolaty runs right off the warm Boston cream pie donuts. There is no way to avoid sticky fingers. A true experience locals just might keep to themselves. (Bring cash for purchases under $10.)
It is a very cozy place, everything is very good. Very good bakery but it's a little bit overpriced.
Love this spot. I've come here at both ridiculous times (late at night) and in the morning. Everything is delicious. The donuts. Oh the donuts. Real donuts, delicious, warm, soft. Donuts. Seriously though, a must stop in.
Back door donuts, the night time name of the opporation that literally uses the back door, was a secret late night islander only hookup for fresh pastries and such after the bars is now almost an atteaction with a line around the block. The sand delights are served in the store front, obviously the following morning and day.
