Lisa (the owner) is incredibly welcoming and friendly. The house is also beautiful, and they have a lovely outdoor shower (in addition to indoors). They also have continental breakfast, which is a plus! The only downside was that we had a first floor room, and I would recommend not doing that if you are a light sleeper. Early mornings were not quiet due to creaky floors and people talking outside the door. Would totally do it again in a room off the main floor!
edit: I am changing my review to 5 stars, because the more I have traveled over the past year, the more I wish other places were as great as this place!
We stayed here for our anniversary in April 2009 and we plan to be back in April 2010. The room was beautiful with a charming balcony. We loved the extra personal touches. The location is perfect - a nice short walk to town. We didn't bring our dog in 2009, but I think we will in 2010. We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Tivoli!
