Convenient location for bicycle rental near dock.
Legitimately awful experience. Very disorganized with broken bikes. Don't use them.
Additionally, the electric start didnt work, along with the speedo/gas gauge. This wasn't that much of a problem as the kick start function, BUT... at one point I spent about 45 mins trying to start the Moped.
Extremely poor customer service. First time renting a moped and staff was unwelcoming and rude. They were annoyed they had to teach me simple controls. This is the absolute last place I would go for rentals.
Biking the Vineyard is great; but no thanks goes to this rental shop. My bike seat was unable to adjust and swiveled the whole time I was riding. My basket fell off repeatedly, nearly hitting bikes behind me every time. When complaining about the seat and the basket- the staff just looked at me and shrugged their shoulders. We even had to stop at a different bike shop to put air in our tires.
All places on the island are the same rate, spend your $99 better by walking 20ft down the road to the next shop, they have nicer looking rigs. One would figure same price, same quality but this was not the case.
When mentioning my issues after returning, the employee said it was my fault I didn't call in and report leaking oil or no kick start, she did not care I had no phone single in that portion of the island.
Overall poor experience. The entire lot of Moped is in rough shape. My particular rental was very beat up. Under the seat (which should be lockable, wasn't) the oil leaked down onto my clothing. I had to through a shirt out because of this.
