Loved it ! Reminded me of a lot of the breakfast nooks back home. The prices are reasonable for Island prices, but the food is so worth it. I've never had such good hash browns in my life ! The biscuits were buttery, soft and fluffy, and the gravy was perfect. Great spot for breakfast!
To me the mark of a breakfast place is their biscuits and gravy. With the name biscuits I had high expectations and they were met. Biscuits were soft, moist and fluffy. Gravy was well seasoned without skimping on sausage. Everyone else in our party was thrilled with their meals too.
Seasonal, wish it was year round, simple but devilishly delicious breakfast only plates but thru do it great and all day.
I am an islander, and while Biscuits is open (mid May-mid October) I eat here roughly three times a week. In the height of the summer, the lines and wait are long. I suggest calling your food in, and taking it to go if you don't want to wait in line. It travels well to go and there's the harbor and Ocean Park nearby where you can sit. The "Biscuits Breakfast" is what I order 95% of the time, you can't go wrong with it. They serve breakfast and lunch all day. I have never had one bad experience or bit of food in all the years I've been eating here. It's my happy place and I consider the owners, chef, and waitstaff my friends. Leave a fat tip for them, because they are all some of the hardest working people on the island; putting out delicious food that would stand out even in a major city. I cry some mornings in the winter when I'm hungover and can't have my Biscuits.
This was a wonderful place for breakfast. The food was great, the service was amazing and the staff is friendly and ready to help! We will come back every time we're here!!!
I imagine that the place could get very crowded in summer. There is no customer bathroom on premises. Door opens awkwardly for access from the wheelchair ramp. We struggled a bit with a stroller, I think a wheelchair would be quite difficult but worth the effort.
