Visited this restaurant October 17, 2017 and was pleased with my dining experience. I ordered the salmon, which was appropriately paired with asparagus, sweet yams and mashed potatoes. The salmon could have been steamed a bit more, however, it possessed a full bodied flavor, amending for it texture. The delicately braised asparagus, was perfect with its crisp and slight whispers of crunchy textures. The sweet yams gave the salmon a delightful, yet refreshing dining dimension, new, even to my palate. While I did not anticipate two starches (mashed potatoes) the pairings made for a wonderful meal. I enjoyed this meal served with hot tea, and was by no means disappointed. My tastebuds gives Linda Jean's a complete smile and 2 thumbs up!
Seafood omelette was the best! Big enough to share. Full of fresh seafood and made just right. Excellent coffee too. Busy diner. Great for families and casual dining. Affordable.
The food is superb, the prices are great, the service is excellent! It's no wonder they're a pack house everyday for years. They do it right and are rewarded with loyal customers.
Best priced food on the island. Diner food done well and they finally have gluten free options. Hope they continue to expand
We found this diner at the recommendation of one of the locals who lives on the island. She steered us well. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was good and not pricey. We enjoyed the experience so much we decided to return before leaving the island to try their pies. After ordering we suddenly realized that we had to scramble to make our last ferry off the island. Our waitress was super helpful. She quickly turned our sit down desserts into carry out. We made the ferry and enjoyed our slices of pie on the boat ride.
