On the menu that is as place on the table, the dessert was supposed to be peach cobbler. However, blueberry bread pudding was served and when we specifically asked about the peach cobbler we were told that it was an clerical error. Then, we overheard another table complaining about their bill, then they were offered peach cobbler. At the same time, key lime pie(that we thought they didn't have) was given out.
The atmosphere is very family oriented. The food is very good. We attended the Sunday Brunch. Saw a lot of familiar faces. Couple of areas of opportunity... the door to the outside kept slamming. We happened to be seated on the bench against the wall where the door was located. Needless to say we felt every slam. Also the service left something to be desired. Not enough staff to accommodate the number of guests.
Went for Sunday brunch - definitely not as advertised. Service was very slow. Mimosa was OK, but way overpriced even by Island standards. I wrongly assumed one would be able to choose toppings with the advertised Bloody Mary bar. Nope. Food was rather sparse and far from hot. No English muffins, just a basket of cold hard bagels. Very disappointing & very overpriced. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because they did use top-shelf vodka in the Bloody Mary. Definitely will NOT return.
Absolutely, no order or organization! No connection between with the promoter of the show or management.
My first time at Lol's was very disappointing. I purchased tickets for a comedy show and with a preset menu prior to the show. When we arrived, nothing that was advertised on the menu was being served including dessert. After everyone sat down to eat, they put out the salmon and other fish.
Went to Lola's the night of the All White Affair. The place was beyond crowded to the point you could not move. It took ~30 minutes to get a drink. There were not enough bartenders and the bartenders that were serving were RUDE!!!!! ALL of them!!! I am not sure why they did not have drink stations set up outside or adequately prepare for the event or crowd. Totally poor planning and horrible execution!!! So disgusted with beverage service I did not waste time with food service besides I could not understand who serves crawfish with drawn butter.....
The lovely bar tender was awesome. The food however left alot to be desired. I last had the jambalaya and had expectations of something wonderful. I picked the shrimp and muscles out of it and really ended up feeling quite ill .Needless to say it was far from anything even edible. I truly hope that they consider hiring a new head chef.
