Best Restaurant and food in the universe. When this opened up we weren't sure it would be good. But it turns out it was the best food on the island and worldwide. Service is amazing, food is indescribable, and atmosphere is incredible. If you looking for the best food, this is where to go. The Menu Selection is also amazing and the atmosphere is not only incredible but it's also really inviting. One downside for a few people is it's dark in the restaurant, personally I don't mind it. Everything is incredible and be sure to also try the owners other restaurants on the Vineyard called Sharky's and Copper Wok.
This is an amazing restaurant. We went there after taking a tour of the island. The weather was terribly cold and damp. We found warmth and a taste of heaven. Our waiter Chad was so sweet and accommodating. We had our 89 yr. old mother who was in a wheelchair with us and everyone was extremely nice. That being said we expected the food to be mediocre. It was anything but!!! It was amazing. We all ordered the hot lobster rolls and they were by far the BEST we ever had. Everything and everyone was the best. You can't go wrong with this restaurant. The ABSOLUTE best on the island. Thank you for making our visit to. M V enjoyable. This restaurant is worth the fairy ride to visit
The chowder was good, but being from RI it's hard to beat our local stuff. Service was a touch cold and distant, but it is off season so maybe that's it. The prices are island prices, two bowls of chowder and a shared salad, $40. A bit much but what we had was decent.
Had dinner here over Columbus Day weekend with my brother. From start to finish it was outstanding. The waitstaff were attentive and engaging. The food is absolutely some of the best I've ever had. Born & bred New Englander, it's hard to impress me with seafood. The Chowder Company managed to do that for a 2nd year in a row. Scallops were totally melt-in-your-mouth. Best I've ever tasted. My brother swears the clam chowder is the best he's ever had. We met the owner, and he took time to sit for a few minutes. Dessert was creme brulee & I ate every last bite. I will definitely be back!
Lobster roll to die for and very large portion. Excellent presentation also for other dishes. Prices are reasonable for a turistic place. Service was good and with the right amount of attention to the customer without being invasive. The bar seems well stoked. Probably a bit noisy during happy hour or high season.
