A truly amazing culinary adventure, definitely get reservations here if you can!
Visited on Columbus Day weekend. Loved the eclectic interior design & vibe. I had pulled BBQ pork, and it really hit the spot on a chilly October night. Yes it's a bit more pricey than the mainland, but those complaining about prices should realize the Vineyard is an island. Prices are higher here due to logistics. We had a wonderful waitress as well.
What an amazing experience! Everything was delicious and presented impeccably. The Fresca is out of this world, and the corn risotto was mind blowing. Big-ass scallops seared to perfection, and oh, did I mention the Fresca?
It wasn't as if they didn't have vegetables such as asparagus, broccoli, Brussels sprouts or any pastas to serve. The chef just chose to serve me tomatoes. I would not recommend this restuarant to anyone. There are plenty of other restuarants to enjoy on the Island.
This restaurant was very highly recommended. The menu has many options,including a vegetarian option. I was extremely disappointed $27.99 later after being served chefs choice veggie special of tomatoes. Different little plates came out, one was stewed tomato with some type of oil,followed by tomato and basil,then another plate of tomatoes, melon and beets. The chef then sent out 2 slices of sweet potato and a bowl of tomatoes in coconut milk.
With so many restaurants to choose from on the Vineyard, it says a lot when we make sure to return each year on our week long vacation.
Vegetarian showdown was delicious with several small dishes. Advance booking is highly recommended!
Fantastic spot! Amazing food! Can't wait to eat there again. Definitely a must try when on the Island.
The service and atmosphere at Red Cat is unlike any other restaurant either on or off island. Loved that we could dine on incredible cuisine, all while watching Jaws in the main dining room.
